I took this photo inside the covered tropical plants section of the Moody Gardens in Galveston, Texas.

Although this pool and stream is man-made it is very beautiful.

Life abound surrounding them. People were allowed to enjoy the view from a distance.

One thing I learned from the National Geographic photographers - try your best not to disturb your subjects, especially nature subjects. I try my best, especially when I'm shooting macro of plants, flowers, and what-have-yous.

The whole scene, especially the the "Gabi" plant (Elephant ears) made me reminiscent of my little sleepy hometown in the Philippines.
